Terms of service

These terms and conditions of sale apply to every order placed on maisonjollise.com. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted them, together with our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy, which form part of these terms.
1. Who we are
Maison Jollise is an online store for knitwear and winter accessories, based in Romania. Our full company details are listed in our Legal notice and Contact information. You can reach us at contact@maisonjollise.com.
2. Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. We sell to consumers for personal use and deliver to addresses in the European Union.
3. Products and descriptions
- We describe every product as accurately as possible, including materials, measurements and care instructions.
- Colours can look slightly different depending on your screen. Measurements are approximate and can vary by about 1–2 cm, as is normal for knitwear and textiles.
- Product photography may include styling props that are not part of the product. What is included is always listed in the description.
- All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we'll tell you straight away and refund you in full.
4. Prices and currency
- Our prices are set in Romanian lei (RON). If you choose another currency, prices are converted at current exchange rates and you pay the amount shown at checkout in that currency.
- Prices include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately before you pay.
- If we discover an obvious pricing error, we'll contact you and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling with a full refund.
5. How the contract is formed
When you place an order you'll receive an email confirming that we've received it. This is not yet acceptance of your order. The contract between you and Maison Jollise is formed when we send you the dispatch confirmation email. We may decline an order — for example, if an item is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or in the case of a pricing error — in which case any payment is refunded in full.
6. Payment
- We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other local methods depending on your country.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment providers using encryption. We never see or store your full card details.
- Your payment is taken when you place your order.
7. Discount codes and promotions
- Only one discount code can be used per order, unless stated otherwise. Codes cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to gift cards or to orders already placed.
- Each promotion is valid only for the period and conditions stated with it (for example, the Halloween private sale runs until 31 October 2026, 23:59 Romanian time).
- If you return items bought with a discount, you are refunded the amount you actually paid.
8. Delivery
We deliver as described in our Shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates. Ownership of the products and the risk of loss pass to you when the products are delivered to you or to a person you've named.
9. Right of withdrawal and returns
As a consumer in the EU you have a legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. We extend this to 30 days. The full process, exceptions and the model withdrawal form are set out in our Refund policy.
10. Legal guarantee of conformity
All products are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity that applies to goods sold to consumers in the EU (Directive (EU) 2019/771; in Romania, GEO no. 140/2021). If a product is faulty or does not match its description, contact us and we'll repair, replace or refund it, as the law provides.
11. Gift cards
- Maison Jollise gift cards can be used on maisonjollise.com towards any product. They are delivered by email and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires it. Please keep your gift card code safe; we cannot replace a code that has been used by someone else.
12. Your account
If you create an account, please keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Let us know straight away if you think someone else has used it.
13. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including the Maison Jollise name and logo, texts, photographs, videos and design — belongs to Maison Jollise or its licensors. It may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses. Please follow the care instructions on each product.
15. Personal data
We process your personal data in line with the GDPR and our Privacy policy.
16. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you're unhappy with anything, please contact us first at contact@maisonjollise.com. We reply within 24 hours on business days and aim to resolve every complaint within 14 days. If we can't solve it together, you may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro), use its alternative dispute resolution service (SAL, anpc.ro/ce-este-sal), or contact the consumer authority in your own country.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
