Maison Jollise began in Romania in 2026 with one idea: the piece you reach for again and again should still be the one you reach for in twenty years — and then belong to someone else.
Every piece is named after a place worth returning to. This autumn–winter, that means places where winter is taken seriously: an Alpine valley, a Swiss village, a quarter of Stockholm. Each named piece carries its place and coordinates, because a good piece, like a good place, is somewhere you return to.
Who is behind it
Maison Jollise is a young, independent Romanian house, founded in 2026 — and still small enough that every box is packed, and every message answered, by the person who started it. No investors and no warehouse full of unsold stock: a short collection, made carefully, for people who would rather own fewer, better things.
Why we make in batches
We open each batch for a short window, count what has been ordered, and only then go into production. Nothing is made that nobody wanted. It means waiting a few weeks for your piece — and it means the piece was made for you. The closing date and the estimated shipping window are always on the product page, before you pay.
How we work
- Few things, chosen slowly. A short, edited collection each season, in quiet colours that work together and with what you already own.
- Honest about what it's made of. Composition and care are on every product page. When a piece is a blend, we say so — we never call a blend "pure cashmere".
- Packed by hand. Every order is folded, wrapped and sealed by us in Romania, and sent with tracking across the European Union — no customs fees, and a 30-day return window.
- Made to be given. We can ship straight to the person you're gifting. Prices never appear on the parcel.
The first line
Inside every box is a card with a single blank line: first worn by —, in the year of —. Fill it in, and keep it with the piece. That is how a house gets its history.
